National Cancer Institute

I created diverse graphics in Adobe CC to visually aid NCI in disseminating vital cancer information, enhancing their mission to educate and support patients and doctors. These included diverse graphics, including graphs and charts for medical articles, promotional posters for webinars, and award certificates.

MY ROLE

Use Illustrator to develop visual aids for medical articles and craft promotional posters for webinars.

Engaged directly with the NCI team through Jira for task management and progress tracking.

Refine graphics and incorporate feedback through iterative reviews.

CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS

Ensuring factual integrity of graphics by cross-verifying all data with the NCI team.

Managing input from multiple reviewers often lead to shifting requirements. I maintained clear communication through tickets and adapted swiftly to feedback.

RESULTS AND IMPACT

Graphics were published in multiple English and Spanish articles, simplifying complex cancer concepts and emphasizing important information.

Promotional posters were used in webinars across National Institute of Health (NIH) and NCI platforms, including a livestream held for the new director of NCI.
